our name
The First Amendment guarantees every citizen the right “to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” When citizens unite to exercise this right, they form interest groups—or, when done professionally, become lobbyists. The term “lobbyist” is believed to have originated from the corridors of the House of Commons, where members of Parliament would gather before and after debates.
Over time, lobbyists have evolved into subject matter and process experts, advocating for causes and shaping policy. Their role has become so integral to the legislative process that they are often referred to as the “The Third House”—a force alongside the House of Representatives and the Senate, ensuring diverse interests are heard.
And so, our name reflects exactly what we do—giving voice, influence, and strategy to those we represent.
our approach
The Third House takes a multifaceted approach to government affairs, engaging with all three branches across four levels—international, national, state, and local. In a complex, multitiered landscape, we navigate these layers strategically, addressing key challenges at every stage.
Our Mission
Integrity, perseverance, and principled advocacy are the foundation of our mission.
We champion businesses, non-profits, and government entities, believing that collaboration and sound public policy drive meaningful change. With integrity as our guide, we bridge these sectors—ensuring voices are heard, challenges are met, and solutions thrive.
We don’t just uphold these values—we live them.
